Transaction Data: Records of donations, programme applications, disbursements, wallet withdrawals, and reward credits.

Device Information: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and usage analytics for app optimization.
Location Data: Approximate location for programme eligibility verification (only when explicitly permitted).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for legitimate purposes with your consent:

To register and verify users as beneficiaries, members, volunteers, or supporters.
To conduct KYC verification and ensure programme eligibility compliance.
To process donations, claims, disbursements, and secure financial transactions.

By using the AVN App and submitting your information, you explicitly consent to and understand that:

KYC verification is mandatory for financial transactions and programme benefits.
You have the right to withdraw consent, though this may limit app functionality.

Payment Gateways (e.g., Razorpay): For processing secure transactions and KYC verification.

5. KYC Data Security & Protection

We handle your KYC and personal data with the highest security standards:

Secure Storage: KYC data is stored in SOC 2 compliant, geographically distributed data centers.
Access Controls: Strict role-based access ensures only authorized personnel can view KYC data.

We do not store card details, UPI PINs, or banking passwords.

Real-time fraud detection monitors suspicious activities.
Withdrawal limits and cooling periods protect against unauthorized access.

7. Volunteer Rewards & Credits

AVN Foundation offers rewards and credits to volunteers who contribute to our mission:

Reward System: Volunteers earn credits based on their participation and contributions.
Credit Tracking: All earned credits are transparently tracked in your digital passbook.
Redemption: Credits can be redeemed for various benefits as per programme terms.
Performance Metrics: Volunteer activities are measured to ensure fair reward distribution.
Tax Implications: Users are responsible for any tax obligations on received rewards.
Important Note: This system does not involve referral chains, recruitment-based income, or any form of multi-level marketing.

8. User Rights & Control

Access Rights: You can access, view, and download your personal data anytime within the App.
Correction Rights: You can update or correct your personal information through the App.
Deletion Rights: You may request account deletion by contacting support@avnfoundationindia.com (subject to legal retention requirements).
Consent Withdrawal: You can withdraw consent for data processing (may limit app functionality).

9. Data Retention Policy

Active Users: Data retained while account is active and for programme participation.
KYC Records: Retained for 5 years after account closure as per regulatory requirements.
Financial Records: Transaction data retained for 7 years for tax and audit purposes.
Inactive Accounts: Data anonymized or deleted after 3 years of inactivity (unless legally required).
Secure Deletion: All data is securely wiped using industry-standard methods when deleted.

11. Age Restrictions & Children's Privacy

The AVN App is intended for users aged 18 years and above.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
If we discover data from minors, it will be immediately deleted.
Parents/guardians can contact us if they believe their child's data was collected.

Your data may be processed in countries outside India with adequate data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers.

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours and take immediate steps to secure your data and prevent further unauthorized access.
