Q1. What is the Var-Vadhu Shagun Yojana?
It is a social initiative by AVN Foundation designed to provide financial support (Shagun) for boys and girls at the time of their marriage, ensuring dignity and reducing financial stress on families.
Q2. Who can register for this scheme?
Any boy or girl between 1 day and 30 years of age can be registered by their parents, guardians, or themselves.
Q3. Is this scheme limited to a particular caste, religion, or community?
No. The Var-Vadhu Shagun Yojana is open to all communities, castes, and religions across India.
Q4. How much Shagun support can be received?
The support amount increases progressively depending on the number of years the beneficiary has been registered. Registered members can receive support up to ₹1.75 Lakh at the time of marriage.
Q5. How soon can Shagun be claimed after registration?
Beneficiaries become eligible to receive support from the very first year of registration itself.
Q6. Is there any document proof given at registration?
Yes. Every registered member receives a Jeevandeep ID Card and a Shagun Guarantee Certificate for complete transparency and assurance.

Yes, the marriage must be legal and valid (bride 18+, groom 21+). Families must inform AVN at least 30 days before the wedding for verification.
Q8. How soon is the Shagun released after marriage verification?
After successful verification, the Shagun amount is disbursed within 5 working days.
Q9. What if I want to contribute monthly?
There is also an optional contribution model where families can make small monthly donations. Those who choose this path become eligible for matching benefits in addition to the Shagun support.

Q1. Who can become a Nirmaan Sahyogi?
Any Indian citizen, male or female, between the ages of 18 to 65 years can join as a Nirmaan Sahyogi.

A Nirmaan Sahyogi contributes to AVN Foundation’s mission of empowering communities, spreading awareness about social programs, and helping beneficiaries like Jeevandeep receive support under initiatives such as the Var-Vadhu Shagun Yojana.
