Eligibility
- Applicant should be an AVN member with a valid User ID
- Family belongs to economically weaker or needy background
- Minimum contribution tenure as per plan guidelines
- Marriage of applicant’s son/daughter to be scheduled within the claim window

Shagun Plan (Marriage Support Amounts)
When a Jeevandeep (JD) registers under Var–Vadhu Shagun Yojana, the support amount is based on the plan duration.

Additional Donation Benefit: If a Jeevandeep contributes ₹500 per month, they receive double of their contribution along with the eligible Shagun amount.
Example: Contributing ₹6,000 in 1 year → receives +₹12,000 on top of Shagun.
Conditions for Receiving Shagun
- Inform AVN at least 30 days before marriage.
- Marriage must be legal and valid (Bride 18+, Groom 21+).
- Verification team visit is mandatory before payout.
- Amount is disbursed within 5 days after successful verification.

- Aadhaar card of guardian and bride/groom
- Passport-size photos
- Income proof or self-declaration
- Marriage proof (invitation/affidavit) at the time of final approval
- Bank account details for fund transfer
Process (Step-by-step)
- Download and login to the AVN App
- Open Jeevandeep (Shagun) section and submit application
- Upload required documents and verify KYC
- Local coordinator verifies and forwards to the approval committee
- Track status in the app; receive notifications for each stage
- Upon approval, funds are disbursed as per policy
